If there is no obvious conflict with an existing member you will be accepted immediately. If there is any potential conflict then the whole membership will discuss it online through our yahoo group and give you a very quick answer. We will always encourage you to speak directly to the member that you may feel you conflict with and in most cases the issue is resolved very quickly and amicably. We believe in abundance rather than competition.
Go to the Downloads page and fill in the application form. Fill it in and email it back to the Club and bring your cheque for £150 to the next meeting
You pay £50 per month by standing order directly into our bank account. That covers your breakfast costs and the running of the club, there is nothing else to pay.
We don't have a joining fee. However, we do ask new members to pay three months in advance to show some commitment and also to give them plenty of time to set up their standing order.
You should aim to arrive at 7:15am for a 7.30am start. Open networking, seated in comfy chairs is a great start to the meeting which starts with teas, coffee and juice. Many members arrive at 7.15am or before because they see lots of value in this initial chat
Yes we can. You order your own breakfast at the beginning of the meeting so just let the staff know and they will make whatever you order.
We are very relaxed about that. We do not time presentations and therefore we don't expect you to keep to one minute. many of our presentations will take between three and five minutes depending upon what questions come up. We encourage members and guests to ask questions or make comments during your presentation so that we can get a deeper understanding of what you do.
We do not expect 100% attendance. We do encourage members to have substitutes turn up in their place which helps to keep the numbers up and make the meetings more vibrant. Your substitute does not have to say anything at all on your behalf unless you want them to. We have a substitutes list on a yahoo group so you can simply post a request there and find a sub quickly.
Whatever you feel comfortable in. Some of us wear suits and ties and some of us wear jeans and trainers. Nobody is going to judge you on what you wear. As a guide we often say wear what you would be happy to conduct your normal business in.
we have not set a formal level of attendance. However, this is weekly networking so if you don't feel able to attend regularly it will be a waste of your investment.
No absolutely not. We do give referrals in the room and have slips for this. However, the nature of the club is to encourage people to get to know each other well and then want to do business with each other and refer their contacts. We do not track or monitor your referrals.
You can if you want to but our culture is to present ourselves in a relaxed conversational style whilst sitting down.
Yes of course. We believe in abundance and widening your connections and we don't compete with any other groups
